Who this agreement is between
These terms are between VEDI Global School LLC, a company registered in Texas, USA, at 5900 Balcones Drive STE 100, Austin, TX 78731 (“VEDI”, “we”), and you, the parent or legal guardian who enrols a child. You agree to these terms on your child’s behalf. By booking a demo, starting the free trial, or enrolling, you accept them.
What VEDI provides
VEDI is an online school. Lessons are taught one to one by an AI teacher; group sessions are led by people; a human mentor meets your child weekly (in the Full School programme); and a human Director reviews and approves your child’s grades and progress. What VEDI is not
VEDI is a new school. It is not a specialist or therapeutic provider — some children need in-person support we cannot give, and we will tell you honestly if we are not the right place. Our curriculum follows established international standards and we give you a full record of what your child has covered, but we cannot guarantee that a particular school, authority or country will accept or recognise it.
The demo and the free trial
You begin by booking a demo. If VEDI is a good fit, we set up your child’s lessons — this takes about a week. Your child’s first 14 days are free: real lessons, a real timetable, no payment taken.
The free trial does not turn into a paid subscription on its own. At the end of it you actively choose a programme to continue — otherwise your child’s access simply ends. We never take payment details to start the trial.
Fees and payment
Fees are shown on Programmes & Prices and are billed in US dollars. You can pay monthly across the school year, or pay for the whole year at once for a lower total. Founding-family and sibling discounts apply as described on the site. Monthly fees are charged in advance.
If a payment fails, we will contact you and may pause your child’s access until it is resolved.
Cancelling, and refunds
If you pay monthly, you can cancel at any time. You will not be charged again, and there is nothing further to pay. Your child keeps access until the end of the month you have already paid for.
If you paid for the full school year in advance and decide to stop partway through, we refund the months your child has not used, adjusted for the discount that applied to the months they did use. A school year that is already finished is not refunded.
What we expect from students and families
Please use VEDI only for the child you enrolled, treat mentors, teachers and other children with respect, and don’t disrupt or misuse the platform. We may suspend or end an account for serious or repeated misuse, or where a child’s safety requires it.
Who owns the lessons
VEDI owns its curriculum, lessons, platform and materials. While you are enrolled, you have a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your enrolled child. You may not copy, share, resell or publish them. The work your child produces belongs to you.
How teaching is delivered
Lessons are delivered by an AI teacher. Group sessions are led by people, a human mentor supports your child every week, and a human Director reviews and approves every grade before it reaches you. We tell you this plainly because you and your child deserve to know who is teaching.
Our responsibility
We provide the school with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise a particular academic result, which depends on many things outside our control. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the issue arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. We would always rather resolve a problem by talking to you first — write to us at contact@vedi.school.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you directly about anything important.
